I’ve been around on this earth for more than 5 decades gathering both personal and professional experience. I’m told that wisdom is a derivative of experiences gathered.

I’ve been a Marketing strategy & distribution development professional with more than 3 decades of experience. In the past, I’ve had stints in organizations like Godrej & Boyce, MRF Ltd, Goodyear Tires, Ventura Logistics, BG Telecom India, Certes Realty Ltd & Longman Publishing.

I’ve done a couple of short stints on boards of companies as an Independent Director, as well as assisted a few with their Organic as well as Inorganic growth. 

What excited me most was the Start up journeys. Maybe that’s why I’ve been part of a few; some which I curated / am curating and a few which I mentored from outside. Corporate strategy, Branding and execution, Marketing & distribution and Jargon less existence with both feet on the ground; that’s exciting. After all, you don’t always measure success and happiness in $.

Land policy, development management and investments thereof into urbanization are subjects that I’m closely involved with.

Based in Delhi, I’ve been a keen analyst as well as participant in the evolution of the urbanization process of Delhi Master Plan and Gurugram Master Plan. Delhi Land and development thereof is only my daily track.

The other big excitement, not just for me, but for the healthcare fraternity, is the evolution of Molecular Iodine(I2). In the words of my mentor and the foremost global scientist in the Iodine world, Dr. Jack Kessler – IODINE WAS ON A WHEELCHAIR, WE’VE ALLOWED IT TO RISE & RUN.”

My endeavor is to ensure that the benefits of Molecular Iodine and the multiple patents of Dr. Jack Kessler reach the desired segments – Humans, Plants & Bovine population. Starting with India & USA, we’re bound to hear a lot more about i2. After all, #i2canhelp.

The idea to restart the blog was to and make relevant and contemporary some of the things I’ve shared on various public platforms, earlier. My departed father used to always say – “Knowledge & vegetables are alike – if you can’t sell them, share them around; else, both rot with time.”

The world is engulfed by the COVID 19 health crisis and economists agree that it would have severe negative impact on the global economy. Locking people in, shutting down public transport and markets, work from home etc.
 
No offence meant to doctors in my social circle, ‘eyesight & vision aren’t the same’. You guys are great doctors, but bad at spotting the world change around you.
 
Ever since the new State Government in Delhi headed by Mr. Arvind Kejriwal has assumed office, there have been a few discussions to invigorate earlier initiatives for the development of the villages (so called Rural villages) in Delhi.
 
Before we get deeper into the subject of this debate versus the reality of development economics, let us look at two instances, both quoted widely by the anti-LARR Bill lobby.
 
How often have we seen & heard of alluring advertisements in the media, posted by Brokers & developers offering Farm Houses in Noida & areas of Delhi, on the Yamuna river bed. A lot many of them have already taken the bite, and have sunk in their hard earned money into the promise of “Farmhouse living”.
 
The authorities displayed amazing alacrity & brusqueness during the past one-year while dealing with the Farm Houses in Delhi, both existing & the fresh supply. Agreed, the Farmhouse policy was christened.
 
As a follow up to my article pre-budget, this is the first reaction @ 1600 Hrs on 10th July’ 2014, after speaking to friends from the industry. The Real estate industry is largely welcoming of this budget, for clear directions by the FM on three critical components for the industry.
 
I am reminded of an incident during the first qtr. of 2014, an event organized by one of the industry bodies of Real estate developers, wherein an Union minister was grilled mercilessly by the builder lobby, with fear of retribution or remorse They actually read out the writing on the wall to the outgoing minister.
 
The above quote is largely the catalyst for the swagger amongst the corporate executives & SME owners who invested into real estate during the years 2000 – 2007, in the NCR & some select markets in India.
 
Dilliwallahs, in all their robust expressiveness, uses the roads as the venue. Ever since I have been a teenager, growing up in Saddi Dilli, I have been wondering on our limitless access to the roads for all activities, as we deem fit, to be conducted on the roads.
